As you all know, Lissachoa is Subject 222.
But what are these subjects about?
What kind of experiments did she go through?
What is the purpose of it all?
Well, sit back and I'll tell you everything.
It starts with the beginning.
Our world is full of myths, stories and folk lore.
The macabre, occult, and horror of monsters and the damned
that lurk in the darkness and dwells in the night
but what if these tales were not of
What if they were warnings of things to come?
Indeed we were caught off guard.
Some thought it was the Apocalypse, the Final Judgment, the end of the world
But heavens gates kept closed and earth remained.
On their own, mankind was trapped within the
Eternal cesspool of the damned.
Mankind soon was on the edge of extinction.
If Man were able to survive then we have to enhance ourselves and quickly,
At first live test subjects were used, but the body was unable to handle the sudden
Enhancements, resulting in a fatal outcome.
No longer wishing to risk anymore lives; Mankind used the dead.
Finally having the technology, scientist were able to fully reanimate the dead with the
enhancements implanted into their bodies, it was a success but the subjects were
More flawed then humans.
Though enhanced with strength, sight, hearing, strong bone structure and immunity, other senses were highly weakened. Some subjects would lose their taste or smell, others lacked in some enhanced features or even made them more weak.
( like they would have super strength but their bone structure would shatter if they even sneeze )
Oddly enough, all subjects were unable to feel any kind of physical urges. ( never feel aroused ) and actually hate being touched in a gentle manner.
With great endurance, a subjects body can withstand any kind of illness, poison, harmful chemical or curse.
Unfortunately, all subjects are unable to reproduce, males lack sperm and females uterus unable to contain eggs. (ya know, all that birds and bees stuff.)
Personality wise? Some would remain rather blank, others would recognize something and their personality would click on almost immediately. ( like one would look at a painting and suddenly become aristocratic, just as they were when they were alive. )
All subjects, when 'awakened', would have no memory of their past. With this the scientists would lie to the subjects, telling them that these subjects agreed to partake in these experiments, one of the many side effects was amnesia.
Of course, all of the subjects believed it. However sometimes a Subject will dream of their past life and this causes them to become highly violent. When this happens then a Subject would have to be put down and
they would learn that it was a horrible idea.
It depends on the Subject. One things is for is that no subject feels sadness and don't cry (even if it's pure joy) instead sadness is replaced with rage.
Without a soul, Subjects are limited to emotions, only small traits of emotion is felts is due to the scientists
Enhancing and fully activating various parts of the subjects brain.
But in the end they feel completely loss, emptiness, and suicidal.
We can only push our God like powers too far, and still we are reminded that we are not God at all.
Subjects are brought back to life through a man made energy to keep them alive and fully functional, however this energy is limited and soon runs dry, causing the subjects to 'Shut Down', some would last between 3 weeks to 4 years.
The Suicidal state is nothing more but the body wishing to return to it's original form; Dead.
Some try to kill themselves and sometimes kills off other subjects before turning on themselves, scientists
Simply says it's another side effect of the experiments.
Of course, after naturally 'Shutting Down' Scientists burn and reanimate all tissue and revives the subject, but after each revival the subject becomes less human and more monstrous, ripping off their skin and sewing onto others, lash out at anyone who so much as looks at them, slowly become deformed, and even recall their past life which increases their madness.
For this these subjects were locked away in the basements basement, in hopes to use them in further study.
With an already dying body, Subjects have one last flaw: Heat.
When a subject is overly warm then the body begins to collapse or will cough up blood, this also speeds up the 'Shut Down' process .
However they do very well in cold climates, lasting longer in below temps then normal humans.
Every 10 Subjects had a special Doctor who takes care of them and records their progress, sometimes is a Doctor is lucky they would have permission to reanimate one of their lost loved ones.
These Doctors really don't play a big roll in these experiments, they are simply there to 'Baby sit' the subjects white the Scientists work out a way to make these advanced undead more human.
This is where Lissachoa and Raoul come in.
Though not remembering anything of her past, the sight of Subject 225 & 226 clicked on her prideful personality. She knew that these Subjects were not volunteered help but kept her mouth shut,
She too has the same enhanced and flawed body: strong muscular structure with super strength, strong bone structure and a little fast but her eyes are very VERY sensitive to light (thus the sunglasses) has no sense of taste or smell. Luckily most Subjects have a special perk, Choa has a 'Blood regenerating factor', In case of a fatal injury the blood in her blood stream will regenerate any that has left the body until the wound is fully healed, preventing her from bleeding to death. (this came in handy after a fight with subject 556)
Thought she might not be the brightest tool in the crayon box (wha?) Choa knew that these Subjects were not volunteers, and this 'Shut Down' was not a fatal result of the experimental chemical that was injected into them.
With only three years to live and refusing to wait behind clean white walls for her death, Choa would instead use what was given to her and charge into the damned infested darkness from which mankind had run away from
but she couldn't get out by herself.
Dr. Raoul was in charge of Subjects 220-229, mainly taking the job so he could revive his wife daughter who became Subject 220 and 221. Sadly 220 killed herself 2 weeks later and 221 'Shut Down' 3 days later.
Being overwhelmed with grief, Raoul felt that the scientists would not find anything hiding in their Labs.
Instead he would make a deal with 222 and assist her on her escape, but only if she would help him find some way to fully revive his family and keeping them alive.
With this agreement, they both were able to leave before the research facility suddenly went under attack by the subjects that they locked away in the basements basement.
Now traveling in a world ruled by the damned, cursed and unholy, Lissachoa would strike them down with pride and anyone willing to pay for their heads, while Raoul uses her for his own personal benefit.
